Sören is a postdoctoral researcher at the JKU/Dynatrace Co-Innovation Lab, Johannes Kepler University Linz joining the team in 2023. His research focuses on scalable, distributed software architectures, event and stream processing of big data volumes and empirical performance benchmarking.
He received a PhD from Kiel University, where he worked on scalability benchmarking of cloud-native applications with special focus on event-driven microservices. Open source implementations of this research are available with the Theodolite benchmarking framework.
