As a software engineer in the Dynatrace Research Lab, Christian is working on approximate query processing in the area of distributed data systems. More specifically, it involves data summarization techniques for providing estimates on query results. Before he joined the research team at Dynatrace he was working as a full stack web developer for several years.
He is currently finishing his master’s degree in computer science with a focus on Data Science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. His areas of interest are software engineering, data science and data visualization.
