Armin joined Dynatrace in 2017, working on the Dynatrace OneAgent and later on the OneAgent SDKs used for extending it beyond its out-of-the-box capabilities. When the OpenTelemetry project was founded, Dynatrace committed to being involved right from the start, also making it a great fit for Armin and his area of focus due to the similarities with the OneAgent SDK. During his involvement in the OpenTelemetry community, Armin became a member of the Technical Committee and as such, focuses on the cross-language specification, which specifies the OpenTelemetry API/SDK implementations built by the respective OTel language groups.
